Lately I've been preparing to take the Net+ exam, and I needed a practical setting to work on my understanding of setting up a small network... I set up LAN/WAN interfaces on the PFsense Router, gave it a /26 and ensured they were in the same .11 network. The egress traffic of those machines were set to the go to the default virtual gateway and then my home gateway and upstream from there. I learned some good stuff about interfacing, subnetting, NAT, virtualization of networking functions as well as some patience and curiosity with the activity. looking to apply what I've learned here in my Active Directory project.
Long have I loved video games, I grew up with all manner of classic game systems. Most game carts from the 90s have a need for a small watch-like battery in order to save games due to technical limits of the time. So in order to continue enjoying these classics (and save game progress), I replace the degraded batteries! I have plans to show off more soildering projects in this blog.
I enjoy skateboarding, it is as exciting as it is challenging. It can be frustrating but with practice courage and determination the end result can be achieved to much satisfaction. Some days it doesn't go so well, but luckily you can have just as much fun cruising with a nice breeze and some friends.
